Fishing   Deadman’s Basin Reservoir

About Anita Leach

Anita Leach

I was raised north of Coffee Creek on the edge of the Arrow Creek Breaks. I currently live in Harlowton and work for Rays Sport and Western Wear. I love all kinds of fishing. I’m becoming a better fly fisherman. Still not as good at that as I would like to be, but it’s a work in progress! I’ve always got my camera along, you never know what you are going to see when you are headed to the water or on it!!

They are catching some muskies on Deadman’s. The larger Rapalas and big spoons are working well. The fish are in deeper water so add some weight and or troll over deeper water.

Deadman’s Basin is doing good, they are catching some salmon from shore. They are using crawlers, marshmallows, and powerbait from shore and on the boats. They are also using cowbells, spinners, and worm harnesses from the boats with good luck. Happy fishing and stop in at Rays for the latest conditions if you are through this way!!
