Avalanche Basin Outfitters

Avalanche Basin Outfitters offers elk/whitetail deer combination hunts in the Big Belt Mountains of central Montana. Hunts take place on 76,000 acres of private land leases. All hunts are fully guided, 2 hunters per guide, 6 hunters per hunt, and 6 full days of actual hunting per hunt. Food, lodging (heated cabins), guides, stock, tack, and transportation are furnished during the hunt. We also provide airport pickup in Helena. Hunts take place between September 15th and December 1st. We also offer fly fishing trips specializing in wade fishing on the Smith River, Rock Creek, Sheep Creek, Butte Creek and the Musselshell River. We also offer still water fishing on 2 private lakes for large browns and rainbows and float trips on the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers. Trips are offered from April 1 through September 15.
