CMR Stampede Bull Run Relay and Running Wolf Half Marathon

The 26.2 mile relay for up to 4 person teams begins 1 mile off Highway 541 approximately 6 miles from Windham or 18 miles from Hobson at 11:00am. Signs will be posted. The route runs on a county-maintained gravel road through the Little Belt Mountains, promising one of the most scenic courses runners will ever encounter. The half-marathon begins at 1:00pm at the half-way point of the relay race. Both races end at the Judith Basin County Fairgrounds in Stanford where the CMR Stampede Quick Draw, Music Fest, and Western BBQ will be taking place. Food and refreshments will be available. Shower facilities will be available at the Stanford School.
Start times will change to 10:00am for both races, if unseasonably hot!
Course Leg Descriptions:
Leg 1: 6.6 miles - tough uphill with hills
Leg 2: 6.5 miles - moderate with hills
Leg 3: 5.2 miles - easy with hills
Leg 4: 7.9 miles - downhill to flat
Belt buckles will be awarded in the following categories:
Relay: Top male team, top female team, top mix team
Half-Marathon: Top two male finishers, top two female finishers
Gift certificates will be awarded for subsequent winning finishers. All participants will receive a unique medal and discounts at the BBQ following the race. Student discounts are available until June 30th!

Driving Directions
The 26.2 mile relay begins 1 mile off Highway 541 approximately 6 miles from Windham or 18 miles from Hobson. Transportation to the half marathon will be available. A bus will depart from the fairground in Stanford at 11:45am.
