Montana Festival of the Wind
Thursday, July 28, 2011 - Sunday, July 31, 2011
Montana Festival of the Wind celebrates the great Montana Wind and Montana's largest Wind Energy Center through wind-related contests and competitions, entertainments and events.
The celebration weekend is preceded by writing, painting and quilting and photography contests related to wind. During the celebration, a spectrum of events designed for almost everyone is available: cycling and running, chili contest alongside arts and crafts and merchandise, tours of the Judith Gap Wind Energy Center, kite making and flying as well as fishing for children, our one-and-only Windbag Contest, musical performances, golf scramble, car and motorcycle rallies and street dance.
