Nestled in the natural beauty of the Montana prairie between the Missouri River and the Rocky Mountain Front lay The Quilting Hen Quilt Store built exclusively for traveling and local quilters. Owners Gary and Diane Arganbright built this spacious and attractive quilt store from the ground up planning every step for the comfort of visitors and quilters for decades to come. The store is remarkable for the breadth and depth of its fabrics, notions and inspiring samples along with its attractive flair for creative displays, layout and design both inside the store and outside on the property. Decorations include antique toys, antique sewing machines, cookie jars, Metlox Poultry fine china in the expected chicken theme all of which remind you of the warmth and the trip out of town to Grandma's house. Classroom area is spacious with large individual tables, design wall, comfy chairs, acrylic floor mats, and large windows to allow natural light and a generous space for each student to quilt and sew. Customers appreciate that the owners have extended a pronounced personal feel for comfort and details for this classroom and store. Shop specialties include "Scrap Stacks" of themed fabrics, which are a delightful and popular gift and original unique Quilting Hen Patterns with such names as Return of the White Buffalo and Harvest Hope. In the store or on the website shopping you will feel the joy of the ultimate shopping experience - we trust if you come in once, you'll come back for years. A destination quilt store worth your visit!
