Fairfield Swim Day is a three-day annual event held the third weekend in July at various locations along Central Avenue in beautiful downtown Fairfield. This year's festivities will begin Thursday evening with a barbeque, pie social, and silent auction in the Community Hall, followed by a family oriented 'Root Beer Float Party' in the park. Friday's celebration will begin with a golf tournament at 4:00pm at the Harvest Hills Golf Course and a teen night of fun and games at the swimming pool. Saturday's activities include a 7:00am Fun Run/Walk for all ages, a pancake breakfast, a parade, carnival, more swimming, horseshoe tournament, street dance and entertainment for all ages.

Food of all varieties will be available: Pit smoked barbeque in the Community Hall, food and drink vendors in the park, and any of Fairfield's fine restaurants. Exact times and locations of each event will be posted as the date approaches.

All proceeds go to fund the operation of the Ernie Thorn Memorial Swimming Pool in Fairfield.
